Life Support System Posts

Dear Life Support System readers,

Google has informed us that the company will no longer support its email subscription service beginning July 1. Users can still access content on the blog, but new posts will no longer be emailed.

This news has caused me to consider the future of Life Support System. I have written Life Support articles for over 20 years now, and I feel as if I am being pulled toward doing some different kinds of writing. So for now, I will take a break from writing Life Support System articles and pursue other endeavors.

Thank you for reading. I have appreciated your online friendship over the years. I may contact you in the future as new opportunities develop.

Best to you as you continue to build the kind of life you want to live.

Steve Goodier

P.S. By the way, if you are clergy, I have a book idea that you may want to be a part of. Please contact me at <> and I'll be happy to present the idea with you as it firms up.

I am MOST dismayed to hear this. I have gotten inspiration, insight and SO much joy from your articles. You have changed the way I look at certain things through your writing – I thank you for making me a better person.

I emailed you to ask you to please keep my email in the event you find a way to get your words out to those of us that need, and WANT, your email. I can’t tell you the smile that comes over my face with I see “LifeSupport” in my Inbox. I hope to have that smile back and receive your words – right to my email, again in the future. I realize you do have a blog, but life, huh? With a dying Mother, a disabled daughter and a full-time job, I just don’t get to those blogs as much as I want – OR need! Your email was the PERFECT way to get your thoughts, your wisdom, and your sense of humor – RIGHT to me.

I just had to thank you for the years of discovery, personal growth, learned compassion/patience/understanding, and the happiness you have brought to my life. I wish you, and yours, all the best this life has to offer. And please try to find a way to send your message out, again....

Thank you,

Suzanne - Sacramento, CA

Thank you very much for all the good(ier years Steve! ;-)
I even have a folder in your name that I saved in my backup files.. :-)
On one hand it's sad to see something I got used to come to an end,
but on the other hand, I'm happy for you for making this change,
it means something else will open up for you to enjoy and do in this world.
I've also had a blog for about 17 years, then one day the host site closed all the blogs,
it was hard for me to accept the loss, but I've learned to release and let go of it.
It's such an eye opening see that the Present in our lives is so much more important.
Being too long in front of computers and screens is so less valuable,
than being outside in nature and meeting real people to talk with.
We need to remember that writing came only after,
when we had no choice but write from a far..

So I bid you farewell, thanks for all the wisdom you've shared!
Lots of love and a big hug from me!
Gil Bar-On from Israel <3

So sad to see the end of life support emails. I have received them for more than 20 yrs and live the stories and lessons. I hope you will consider other options for sending out the newsletters.
